2nd Annual Chili Cook Off for the Nubs

The name may seem self explanatory, but what is Carolina Boxer Rescue, and what do they do specifically?

Founded in 2001 by three women who wanted to make a difference in the lives of shelter dogs, their humble beginnings involved the use of limited technology and resources. With only a Polaroid camera and a fax machine, these volunteers drove all over Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina pulling dogs from shelters and driving them to foster homes.

As the Rescue grew, many more dedicated volunteers joined the cause, and eventually became the largest adoption and foster rescue in North Carolina and South Carolina. Hundreds of dogs are saved annually through the hard work of volunteers, foster homes, and adoptive homes. To date, Carolina Boxer Rescue is proud to have saved over 3,500 dogs from euthanasia.

Carolina Boxer rescue is always looking for new volunteers, foster homes, adoptive homes, sponsors, and donations. As a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible.
